Dynamic Deck Tournament Results – 703 TCG Card Show

NORFOLK, Va. - Casters from all over the United States arrived at the 703 TCG Show this past Saturday with only one mission: become the very first Dynamic Deck tournament champion. With official prizing support and dynamic decks for all those who entered, this tournament looks to be the first of many that seek to incorporate MetaZoo's latest consumer product in a tournament setting.

Players were given 30 minutes to open their decks and construct their strategies before competition began. The tournament featured three rounds of Swiss play using the newly released Organized Play Dynamic Deck rules.

The field ultimately came down to a mix of returning veterans and newer casters, highlighting the accessibility of the Dynamic Deck format.

BunnyMan Productions (William) captured first place using a Riptide Jackson Dynamic Deck. A first-round bye helped set the pace, and he finished the event undefeated with a 3-0 record (including the bye) to secure the inaugural title.

Finishing in second place was Laconic (Chris), who had previously played MetaZoo only once at Richmond Collect-A-Con 2025, demonstrating that even relatively new or returning players can quickly find success in the format. Laconic piloted a Javier Dynamic Deck to an impressive runner-up finish.

TCG.CamP (Cameron) secured third place with a 2-1 record, rounding out the top three.

Rounding out the standings:

  • 4th: JuiceBoxDrizzle, an Ohio native who traveled to compete

  • 5th: Jerry C., another returning caster from the original MetaZoo era

  • 6th: Rami H.

  • 7th: SilverSnorlax (Jason)

With strong turnout and competitive energy surrounding the event, the Dynamic Deck format appears poised to become a regular fixture in MetaZoo organized play moving forward.
