Introducing Surtr, a fire-infused mythic creature from Norse legend making his official debut in the MetaZoo TCG. While fans may recall Surtr’s Sword from the base set, this is the first time the cryptid himself is appearing in card form — and he’s bringing new mechanics, explosive potential, and flavorful synergy with him.

Surtr is a 5-cost Fire Aura card, which means he typically enters the battlefield around Turn 5. A 6-Influence beast at that cost is already efficient, but Surtr’s real power lies in his ability and card type.
For the first time in MetaZoo’s new TCG, Surtr is a Creature and Equipment card simultaneously. This means he can benefit from cards that boost Equipment synergy, opening the door to new deck archetypes that blend beastie aggression with utility gear interactions.

You may want to also run a few copies of Ignite Arms in your deck to help mitigate the loss of influence points in your lanes once you begin sacrificing your equipment.
