Jett Yates - Bringing Torrential Tides to Life
For longtime fans, Jett Yates has become one of the most recognizable names in MetaZoo’s artistic lineup. From her early work during the game’s original run to her stunning new pieces under the relaunch, Jett’s art has helped define MetaZoo’s visual identity.
In our interview, she discusses her experience designing the Torrential Tides alternate art booster box, the inspiration behind the elegant Blossom Rare cards, and how her creative process has evolved over time. We also had the chance to talk with MetaZoo Maniac, one of the youngest creators in the MetaZoo community, and her dad — the person behind the camera helping bring her YouTube channel to life.
Their videos have captured everything from cryptid hunts to Torrential Tides box breaks, all infused with humor, imagination, and enthusiasm for the game. During our conversation, MetaZoo Maniac opened up about how she started the channel, her favorite kinds of videos to film, and what it was like to be trusted with an official Torrential Tides spoiler reveal earlier this year.
